Vocational and Adult Learning
AIR’s adult learning work focuses on the needs of adults seeking to enhance their literacy skills, English language learners, and adult students who attend community colleges and other learning environments.
We seek to study and improve instruction and program services for students through research and by providing professional development and technical assistance to state and program staff.
Our team includes former teachers and practitioners, researchers, data analysts, and professional development specialists who have substantial experience in adult literacy, development education, and English language instruction at the local, state, and federal levels.
