We conduct evaluations and critical reviews of the research, identify promising and proven practices, and provide tools and technical assistance to help implement them. For example, using experimental designs, we have tested the effectiveness of specific teacher professional development programs–programs designed on the basis of our reviews of the research on the key features of teacher professional development.
