December 1 is World AIDS Day and AIR is marking the occasion by deepening its commitment to raise awareness about the disease. AIR continues work on two major initiatives: Act Against AIDS and Shine the Light!
AIR’s new Center on Aging addresses the many research and policy issues that arise in this context, using a broad brush that spans AIR’s subject area and methodological reach. Because societal aging is a global phenomenon, the Center's initial focus on aging in the United States will expand over time to include international concerns.
