Our testing engine integrates innovative, machine-scored constructed-response items with multiple choice items in either adaptive or fixed test. Working with the state of Oregon, AIR offers the only adaptive testing engine that is peer-reviewed and NCLB approved. AIR experts assess the needs, processes and functions of organizations with the overall goal of improving organizational outcomes. Our researchers utilize a variety of assessment tools and methods to support this work, including interviews, procedural audits, cognitive labs, focus groups, and surveys. Targeted surveys have been particularly valuable in our assessment of organizational cultures and climates, employee engagement, the state of higher education, and career readiness, to name a few. Our survey researchers have the capability to design content, conduct multiple-mode administrations, analyze data, and organize survey results that yield organizational insight and actionable recommendations for addressing organizational performance issues.
