Postsecondary Education

AIR’s research and evaluation work in postsecondary education identifies successful practices to increase educational access and to coordinate K-12 preparation with postsecondary needs. We explore cost-effective ways to deliver postsecondary educational services and training, and help colleges and universities foster environments that maximize learning, research productivity, and innovation.

  • ELL Content Centers

    Recently, the U.S. Department of Education awarded AIR two content centers, which will offer all states research-based resources and tools to support struggling students, including ELLs: the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders and the College and Career Readiness and Success Center.

  • St. Louis Regional College Access Pipeline (CAP)

    AIR led a strategic planning process that engaged more than 100 community members in St. Louis to create actionable steps to build a college-going culture in all of the region’s high schools, to expand and coordinate the delivery of services, and to improve college persistence.

  • College & Career Readiness & Success Center

    The federally funded College and Career Readiness and Success Center (CCRS Center) provides customized support to states, promoting knowledge development and collaboration through technical assistance and interactive learning communities.
