We support the design, development, analysis, reporting, and dissemination of findings from large-scale educational assessment surveys, including the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), the National Assessment of Adult Literacy, and other national and international surveys that include educational assessment components.
- Outreach, Input, and Dissemination. Our experts facilitate a wide range of NCES efforts that reach out to the broad community of education practitioners, managers, researchers, and the public to collect input and feedback about its work and also to communicate its findings through reports, presentations, and Web sites.
- Statistics and Technical Review. We are working to identify and use new statistical and methodological techniques, which would facilitate the use of NCES data and the production of reliable and valid estimates, findings, and conclusions. We also assist with technical review of NCES reports for statistical quality and accuracy, and adherence to NCES statistical standards.
