AIR FELLOWSHIPS

The American Institutes for Research provides fellowship opportunities in partnership with select institutions for scholars who either hold a doctoral degree or who are enrolled in a doctoral program in the field of educational research. These unique programs provide an excellent opportunity to gain additional exposure and training in applied education research, evaluation and/or assessment.

AERA-AIR (A2) Fellows Program

Sponsored jointly by the American Educational Research Association and AIR, the AERA-AIR (A2) Fellows Program provides research and training opportunities to recent Ph.D or Ed.D degree recipients in fields and disciplines related to the scientific study of education and educational processes. The program also aims to increase the number of underrepresented minority professionals conducting advanced research or technical assistance.

Up to three fellows will be selected annually for a two year, rotational position in Washington, DC. Only U.S. Citizens and permanent residents of the United States are eligible to apply for this fellowship program.
