Education Assessment

Program Director - Jon Cohen

AIR’s Assessment Program offers a comprehensive and distinctive set of services within today’s competitive educational assessment landscape. As an integral program within AIR, we offer clients assessment products and services that are enhanced by our position as a leading educational research organization.

By drawing on the resources of AIR’s unparalleled educational research efforts, we are able to conceive and apply state-of-the-art techniques for designing and building assessment programs that not only improve the education of children but also meet the complex and rigorous requirements set forth by state and federally mandated programs. We accomplish this by drawing upon the extensive work AIR conducts in educational improvement, policy research, and evaluation; by designing and implementing technically excellent assessment development programs; and by developing scientifically sound accountability systems. These resources enable us to meet clients’ stringent program and quality requirements.

As states and other educational entities respond to the needs of the No Child Left Behind Act and additional changes in today’s educational climate, AIR’s efforts produce measurable results.
